Over the Easter break we were told to collect a single pavilion picture to use in a class exercise. The one i chose is of a wave form made from sheet wood and metal support rods. For the exercise everyone placed their images on the table, and then on a scale of most to least, we moved the pictures depending of how much our picture resembled a certain trait. The traits we explored were how Pavilion(y), colourful, permanent and typographical they were. This helped us understand what a pavilion actually is and what element we can use to influence our designs.
From here we moved into story groups. I went back into the moon group as it is the one I worked on before the break. Along with Steve Hight and Jasper Timoti Omeri, we explored what we can do to build on the story of 'Everyone look at the moon'
